Day 1: Arrive San Antonio, Texas - Tour Begins
It’s easy to see why San Antonio is often referred to as the “American Venice.” Sidewalk cafes, historic architecture, and a beautiful river centerpiece make this a truly remarkable city.

Day 2: San Antonio
Your day begins with a fascinating tour of San Antonio with visits to the Mission San Jose, the Institute of Texan Cultures, the King William District and the Alamo. The remainder of your day is at leisure to discover San Antonio on your own. Your Tour Manager is on hand to recommend attractions and sightseeing so you can experience the best of this unique city. Perhaps you will partake in an optional dinner in one of San Antonio's local restaurants and see the IMAX presentation of “Alamo…The Price of Freedom.”

Day 3: San Antonio-Stonewall-Luckenbach-Fredericksburg-Bandera-San Antonio
This morning you travel to Stonewall to enjoy a tram ride tour of the LBJ Ranch, birthplace of the 36th President of the United States, Lyndon B. Johnson. On your tour of the ranch you will view the “Texas White House” and learn about living in the Texas “hill country.” Next, stop in the cowboy town of Luckenbach and enjoy a visit to the Luckenbach General Store, which has been in operation since 1849. Later, journey to the heart of hill country to the German settlement of Fredericksburg. Continue to the “Cowboy Capital of the World”, Bandera, for dinner and rootin’ tootin’ entertainment at an authentic dude ranch.

Your morning is at leisure to discover more of San Antonio. Take a streetcar to many of the downtown attractions or enjoy some shopping at the Rivercenter Mall. Later, enjoy a cruise along the Paseo del Rio, also known as the Riverwalk, followed by a private cooking class and farewell dinner. Experience the flavors of true Tex-Mex cuisine as you learn the art of cooking and making the perfect Margarita - then enjoy your creations!
